My Lord:-

With reference to my telegram No. 114 of May 10th. and to Your Lordship's reply No. 89 of May 21st. on the subject of the Yeung Kuei-wan murder case, I have the honour to transmit to Your Lordship herewith a copy of a despatch which I have received from His Majesty's Consul-General at Canton on the subject.

In this despatch Mr. Campbell gives the conclusions at which he has arrived after consultation with the officer administering the Government of Hongkong, as to the best manner of conducting the case.
